DESCRIPTION:Don’t throw away your broken item – bring it to the Repair Café!  SalemRecycles will be hosting a Repair Café on Saturday November 16th from 9am-12 noon at the Community Life Center at 401 Bridge Street.  Appointments are required and walk ins will not be accepted. Schedule an appointment (TBA) Repair volunteers will be available to mend clothing\, sew buttons\, tinker with or rewire electronics and lamps\, computer diagnostics\, glue wooden furniture and ceramics\, repair bicycles or perform bike tune-ups\, and more. Please keep in mind these services may change as we confirm volunteers. Look for SalemRecycles volunteers and the Helpsy truck on:\n\n \nSaturday\, November 23 from 8:00AM – 1:00PM\nUniversal Steel Lot at 297 Bridge St\, Salem\, MA (new location!)\n\n \n\nTEXTILE DROP OFF — clothing\, sneakers\, shoes\, boots\, slippers\, belts\, ties\, purses\, stuffed animals\, comforters\, sheets\, blankets\, table linens\, and curtains.\nANY CONDITION — as long as clean\, dry\, odor-free. Can be new and reusable\, old and moth-eaten\, stained\, torn or damaged\, broken belt\, single sock or shoe.\nPLEASE\, NO — fabric scraps\, carpet\, rugs\, pillows\, bric-a-brac\, oil rags\, wet or mildewed items.\nClick here for more details.\n\n \nTERRACYCLE — TerraCycle recycles many items that cannot be recycled curbside\, and would otherwise end up as trash.
